The Senior Pastor, Fire and Power Ministries, Aboru in Lagos state, Rev. Ezekiel Arimobi has said that the church would soon build a school where it intends to train children of the church and that of the Aboru community free of charge.

Rev. Arimobi who was speaking on Sunday in a service to mark the mid-year thanksgiving of the church at the church’s premises in Lagos also said that the church would also build a hospital where members of the church as well as people of the community would assess free medical treatment even as he said that the church would also build an orphanage to cater for the needs of the motherless and abandoned babies in the country.

He said that the proposed projects were part of the church’s commitment towards building people that would in turn give back to the church what the church had given to them by helping the church to build other people coming after them when they must have become somebody in life.

According to him,” in this present age where members of different churches are finding it difficult to assess education in schools built by their churches with their money, we are going to build a school where we will train our children and that of our host community free of charge to become governors, lawyers, engineers and so on”.

“People will be wondering how these projects will come to be going by our meager resources here at present, well, I know it is possible because I serve a big god and unless God will not give me life to accomplish all them. This is a unique church with a unique vision, we want to prove that to the world”.

Preaching during the Service, the general Overseer, Divine Grace Ministries, Ikeja, Lagos, prophet Dr. Uche Ugbaja harped on the importance of thanksgiving in the life of any christian saying that thanksgiving was the easiest way of attracting God’s mercy and releasing the impossible.

The Prophet who spoke on the theme, “ The Power of Thanksgiving” said many Christians had lost their inheritance in God due to their inability to understand the place of thanksgiving in their relationship with God.

He said,” one cannot receive anything from God without thanksgiving. People believed that thanksgiving can only be given to God only when God makes them rich. If you are faithful in showing gratitude for little things, God will not find it difficult locating you with bigger things”.

The man of God who drew his lesson from the book of Colossians 1: 11-14 listed what thanksgiving can do in one’s life to include; fruitfulness, forgiveness, instant miracles and life elongation however called on Christians to imbibe the culture of thanksgiving as that is the easiest way to move the mind and hands of God into action.
