Ciroma to chair Port Gist’s 3rd anniversary celebration

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Hajia Inna Maryam Ciroma has been slated to be the Chairman of the 3rd anniversary of Port Gist and Event on television.

The event which will feature a Workshop on the Appraisal of the Pre-Arrival Assessment Report (PAAR) in the last ten months will have the Comptroller General of Customs, Alhaji Dr. Abdullahi Inde Dikko as the Special Guest of Honour.

Also expected at the event are the Vice Chairman of Sifax Group of Companies, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi who will be the Guest of Honour, Deputy Controller Yusuf I.M of the Apapa Customs Command, the National President, Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Prince Olayiwola Shittu and the National President, National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Dr. Eugene Nweke who are to be the Guest Speakers.

According to a release signed by Dr. Kayode Collins Farintho who doubles as the Chief Host and made available to Primetime Reporters, the event which will also feature Conferment of Award of Excellence and Unveiling of a new Magazine tagged; Ports, Entertainment and Business Gist (PEB), will hold on Wednesday, 29th October, 2014 at the Rockview Hotels, Apapa at 10.00 am Prompt.
