The Technopreneurs emerge winners of the P&G CEO Challenge, Nigeria

…meets with P&G Nigeria Business Leaders

The Technopreneurs, a team of contestants from the University of Ibadan, have emerged winners of the P&G CEO Challenge, Nigeria having consistently out-performed all other teams throughout the competition.

The Technopreneurs team, comprising Ololade Olaleye, Olamide Oladeji and Dolapo Salawu emerged top after winning the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) contest ahead of the HHR, Midas, Incredible and Nudocs from the University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye respectively.

Obiora Chisom, Talent Practice Manager, P&G Nigeria, who disclosed this, commended the high level of competition among the teams saying that the creative manner in which The Technopreneurs executed tasks assigned to them, earned them the qualification.

According to her, the panel of judges unanimously selected The Technopreneurs as the winners due to their consistent performance and technical understanding displayed in the presentation of the tasks assigned to them by the judges.

“In line with our mission of developing the finest business leaders in the world, P&G Nigeria is proud to celebrate The Technopreneurs and every other Nigerian student who participated in this online case study. We believe that the competition has given them the opportunity to work and learn from real business issues and senior management.” she added

Reacting on his experience on the challenge so far, a member of The Technopreneurs team, Olamide Oladeji said that the competition had been very exciting, yet challenging.

“It had effectively helped my brainstorming abilities and my ability to work under strict deadlines.” he added

The P&G CEO Challenge is the first ever virtual competition to be organized by P&G Nigeria. A total of 449 teams from different Nigerian universities and business schools participated in the competition.

The P&G CEO Challenge is an online case study competition among students of universities and business schools across the world, aimed at identifying, developing and grooming leaders for tomorrow.

Contestants will get hands-on experience on how to solve practical P&G Problems on a professional level and winners will experience a day with P&G leaders, win exciting prizes and enjoy a trip to Dubai.
