Nigerian former beauty queen and present President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Ibinabo Fiberisima has a case to settle with a Federal High Court in Lagos state. The Court during its sitting today upturned the election of the 42 year old mother of three.
While delivering his judgment this morning, Justice James Tsoho of the Federal High Court said the election that ushered the 42-year old actress into office was conducted against a standing court order. The judgment was delivered in favour of a suit filed by an actor identified as St. Maradona Mikevine.
Mikevine who served as the National Treasurer in the factional executive committee led by Emeka Ike had filed the suit to contest Ibinabo’s election as AGN president.
Meanwhile, Emeka had dragged the mother of three to court in July 2013 following the constitution of a National unity government in the AGN.
Ibinabo is yet respond to the court development as at the time of filing this report.
