It was a weekend of fun when Baileys treated mothers to an exclusive tea party on the occasion of the 2015 mothers’ day celebration which held in Lagos over the weekend.

The tea party was the first of its kind in Nigeria which replicated what obtains in Britain. The party was put together to celebrate independent women and mothers to give them special moments in their life and to make them celebrate the joy of motherhood according to the Brand Manager Ufuoma Udjoh during her welcome address.

She added that the tea party events organised across three major cities in Nigeria; Lagos, Abuja and Benin, were part of the brand’s activities geared towards celebrating the 2015 Mother’s Day.

“The tea party is our way of toasting to mothers across the country and to make them experience special moments as mothers”, she said.

Celebrities and mothers hailed Baileys for providing them with an avenue to celebrate this year’s Mothers’ Day in grand style and in a beautiful ambiance that depicts love for their mothers.

The events were hosted by Stephanie Coker (Co-host of Baileys Boutique & OAP with MTV Base Africa and Ebonylife TV) and Fade Ogunro (Co-host of Baileys Boutique & OAP with Beat FM), and held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island; Panach Restaurant, Abuja and the Metro Event Centre, Benin.

The sensational duo entertained guests during the parties with various fun activities that put smiles on the faces of the guests. The night was also filled with the emotional mom-daughter trivia, where daughters demonstrated their knowledge of their mothers.

Guests were treated to special music performances by fast rising music star, Korede Bello and R&B crooner, Seyi Shay who dazzled mothers to the dance floor with the elegant performances.

The events were attended by notable celebrities; Banke Meshoda, Sasha P, Tewa Onasanya, Hauwa Mukan, Kayla Oluwo, Ono Bello, Yvon Vickson, Schullzz, World Famous Fabs, Lagos Mums among others.
