ANLCA Lilypond Chapter gets new Chairman

The Lilypond Terminal Ijora Chapter of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) now has a new chairman.

He is Mr.Olabanji Olufemi of FEMAT International Services Nigeria Limite.

In an election conducted at the National secretariat of ANLCA on Tuesday, Mr. Olabanji polled all the 7 valid votes to emerge victorious.

He replaces Prince Anslem C. Njemanze who had been acting Chairman of the chapter for more than 2 years.

Accreditation of voters commenced at 11.52 am and closed at 11.56am as 7 out of 8 potential voters were accredited.

The Chairman of the Association Electoral Commission (ASECO), Alhaji Abdulazeez Babatunde Mukailah who was on hand to conduct the election briefed the voters on the procedures for the election shortly after the accreditation exercise.

The election which was peaceful and orderly was witnessed by members of the Chapter, some national officers namely; National Publicity Secretary, Dr.Obicee Okonkwo, Mr. Bolade Lawrence, Principal Staff Officer to the National President of ANLCA, Alhaji Bayo Oyekangun, Zonal Secretary Western Zone, Chief of Staff, Mr. Francis Maduekwe, Director-General ANLCA HQ, Mr. Joel N. Nwosu and Bro. Chukwudi Ike, the Senior Special Assistant Members Welfare and Insurance.

At the end of the voting exercise, Mr.Olabanji who was the sole candidate for the Chairmanship seat was declared winner and duly returned by ASECO Chairman after securing all the 7 votes.

He will be duly sworn in by the President of ANLCA, Prince Olayiwola Shittu at a later date.
