Nigeria’s largest online mall, Konga has confirmed that the Chairman of Troyka Holdings Limited, Biodun Shobanjo, and the Chief Executive Officer of Konga, Sim Shagaya will be speaking at the Konga 2015 Sellers Summit slated to hold on Saturday October 17, 2015 at Eko Hotel and Suites.
Other speakers will include Chief Executive Officer of Jobberman, Awoyemi Opeyemi; Chief Executive Officer of X3M Ideas, Steve Babaeko, Google Nigeria Country Manager, Ebi Atawodi and Managing Director Anglophone Africa, DHL, Randy Buday.
Among the lead discussants for the panel sessions are: Managing Partner, Red Media Africa and Social Commentator, Chude Jideonwo; Group Corporate Brand Manager Interswitch, Tomi Ogunlesi and the Managing Director, Zippy Logistics, Kabir Shagaya.
Biodun Shobanjo who is the Chairman of Troyka Holdings, Nigeria’s largest and most innovative integrated marketing communications group in sub-Saharan Africa, with businesses in marketing communications, resource management and asset protection will be speaking on the topic, “Internet and E-Commerce Revolution in Nigeria: Where We’ve Been, Where We’re Heading and How to Get There”.
He was awarded Most Influential Personality in Advertising in Africa at the 2014 African Development Magazine (ADM) Award of Excellence in Development held on 14th November 2014 in Accra, Ghana.
Named by Forbes as one of Africa’s 30 best entrepreneurs under 30, Chude Jideonwo is a Managing Partner at Red Media Africa, which owns the continent’s largest portfolio of youth media brands.

Sessions at the summit would deal with essential business topics including brand management, customer service, logistics, financing, entrepreneurship and more”.
She further explained that the summit, which is open to current sellers on Konga’s marketplace as well as other current or prospective business owners, is in furtherance of Konga’s vision of being ‘the Engine of Trade and Commerce in Africa’.
“Any entrepreneur in Nigeria’s fast evolving trade environment must constantly adapt his or her business strategies and channels to the current business realities to ensure his or her businesses stay relevant in market and to enjoy continued business growth,” Akande concluded.
She called on interested small and medium scale entrepreneurs to avail themselves of this opportunity and register for the summit by paying the registration fee of N2,500 for merchants who are already on the Konga platform, and N7,500 for other merchants.
