The 2016 edition of the Oil Trading and Logistics (OTL) Africa Downstream week has been scheduled to hold from the 23rd to 26th October, 2016 in Lagos.

Announcing the dates in a statement released at the International Petroleum Week in London on Thursday, Chairman of OTL Downstream Development in Africa Ltd./Gte., Mr. Emeka Akabogu stated that this year’s edition is the 10th edition thus a milestone for the entire OTL Africa Downstream team.

The statement quoted Akabogu as saying that the event had global interest in this year’s edition because Africa Market fundamentals remained strong when compared with other global markets adding that the hit on the upstream interest had brightened the numbers of midstream and downstream.

He disclosed that the organizers of the event had gone far in discussions with key African governments coordinating industry delegations to this year’s event and were looking forward to OTL 10th edition with excitement.

According to him,” “It’s the 10th edition, which is a major milestone for us. We have strong global interest in this year’s edition for two major reasons: African market fundamentals remain strong relative to other global markets, while the hit on upstream interests has brightened the numbers of midstream and downstream. We have also gone far in discussions with key African governments coordinating industry delegations to this year’s event, and are looking forward to OTL 10 with excitement.”
