The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has condoled with the Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Senator Stella Oduah on the death of her son whom he said was plucked at his prime.

In a condolence message to the Senator, Governor Obiano stated, “I received with deep regret the report of the death of your beloved son late Maxwell Omabuwa Chinedu Etoromi, in rather tragic circumstances.  The news came to me as a shock and source of grief.  On behalf of my family and Ndi Anambra please accept my sincerest condolences”.

Said Obiano: “Maxwell left us in the prime of his youth, taking away from us his endearing personality. My thoughts are with you, the members of your family and loved ones in this trying time. I have no doubt that his demise is bound to leave a vacuum in your life. But since we cannot question the will of God, I urge you to accept the situation with Christian calmness. My prayers are that the God will strengthen you at this time and grant him soul eternal rest.”

Governor Obiano further expressed optimism that Senator Oduah would soon overcome her great loss and rediscover the joy of living again.
