The Award which was presented to her Excellency at an event to mark the 3rd Year Anniversary of the Primetime Reporters, Annual Lecture and Award giving ceremony was in recognition of her efforts at caring for the poor, the needy, the less privileged, women and children through her pet project, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFÉ) and for her support to His Excellency , the Governor of Ananmbra State, Chief Dr. Mmaduabuchukwu Obiano in piloting the affairs of the state thereby making Anambra State a model state.

Receiving the award, the wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano expressed her gratitude to God and to the Management of the medium for the honour done her and the entire Anambra women adding that the award would spur her to do more for the women, children and the less privileged members of the society.

Represented by the Mrs. Pauline Nwandu of the Anambra State Liaison office in Lagos, Mrs. Obiano recounted her activities through the CAFE initiatives to include empowering the indigent women and children of Anambra state through her pet project, CAFÉ, which saw her built houses for some indigent widows cutting across the three senatorial zones of the state, providing prosthetic limbs and wheel chairs for the physically challenged persons in the state, building toilets for market women equipped with modern facilities, training of youths in various skills and empowering them with the tools to practice their skills and many more among other achievements.

While recounting the achievements of the Governor in the area of Security, agriculture, health, education, prompt and consistent payment of the workers’ salaries and internally generated revenue, she called for the support of all Anambrarians to the administration of her husband saying that Gov.
