Following 15 years of zero death in the Ministry, the Mind of God Deliverance Ministry, Badagry, Lagos has rolled out its drums in thanksgiving to God who is a covenant keeper.

The Ministry which came into existence in the year 2002 used the occasion of its annual thanksgiving which was preceded by a three day crusade to mark its 15th year anniversary.

In his sermon, the Shepherd of the Ministry, Captain Rev. John Orji described the thanksgiving celebration as an annual event which marked the church’s end of the year activities as well as an occasion where they renew the covenant which the church had with God that there would be no untimely death among members of the Ministry.

Rev. Orji stated that the church also appreciated God through thanksgiving for being a covenant keeping God to her as according to him,”For the past 15 years of existence of this Ministry, we have not buried any member. To God be the glory.

He continued,”Today, we are marking 15 years of the Ministry, Mind of God Deliverance Ministry. It is a deliverance ministry. We are marking 15 years because we have a covenant with God so that since the starting of this Ministry in 2002 up till today, we have never lost anyone and that is the covenant we have with God, that he should keep everyone alive”.

The Shepherd recalled that the church had made a lot of achievements adding that it all started in a flat with five members and later moved to a bigger place from where it moved into its permanent site.

“So, we have made a lot of tremendous achievements and we are still making because God is on our side. God is faithful in the Ministry he has committed into our hands.

“God that we have covenant with is a faithful God and we never ask and he will nit give us, we always ask and he give us. For example, those that are coming here that are mad, when they come here, they get well because when we ask, God heal this person, let insanity go, he always honour the word. So, it is a great achievement. It is a place where mad people come, people who are looking for the fruit of the womb come”, he explained.

Going forward, the man of God added that they were believing God for expansion of church having given them a befitting place of worship.

Highlights of the ceremony were word ministration, praise and worship, cutting of the anniversary cake among other side attractions.
