Security Report: NAGAFF dissolves all executives in six chapters

The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) on Friday announced the dissolution of all executives in six of its chapters in the Western Zone.

A statement issued in Lagos by the National President of NAGAFF, Chief Increase Uche said the dissolution became necessary following security report at the disposal of the national headquarters.

Uche which named the affected chapters to include; Apapa, Tincan, Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT), Ports and Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) Lillypond/Ijora and the Murtala Mohammed (MMA) chapters, said the dissolution is with immediate effect.

He directed the Chairmen of the affected chapters to ensure proper hand over of the chapters’ properties to the Board of Trustees of the association by Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 while thanking them for their meritorious service to the association.

According to him,” Following the resolution passed during the Thursday, January 18, 2018 special emergency enlarged NEC meeting and by the powers conferred on me by section 71 & 72 of our constitution and after due consultations with the appropriate organs of our great association, I hereby announce the dissolution of the entire executives of the following chapters in the Western Zone; Apapa, Tincan, KLT, PTML, Lillypond and MMA.

“This action which became necessary due to security reports at the disposal of the national headquarters takes immediate effect”.
