…Urges members to raise N30M for registration, logistics

As the election into the Governing Council of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) inches closer, the founder of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Dr. Boniface Aniebonam has approved that payment of NAGAFF membership be deferred to enable members conclude full membership of CRFFN for the purpose of the forthcoming election into the Governing Council of CRFFN.

The Head, Special Duties, NAGAFF Headquarters, Rev. Emmanuel Agubanze who made this known in a statement in Lagos Friday also disclosed that Dr. Aniebonam and the Board of Trustees has directed the National President to release additional ten million naira (N10, 000, 000) from the last election account of the association to the registration committee in-charge of CRFFN election 2018 to enable them do a thorough job.

In his words, “Meanwhile payment for NAGAFF membership is deferred to help members conclude full membership of CRFFN for the purpose of the forthcoming election into the governing board of CRFFN.

“As part of the effort being made by NAGAFF to ensure total victory during the forthcoming CRFFN election the Founder of NAGAFF had directed Mr. President to mobilize all individual Freight Forwarders  and members with means to rise to the occasion and help the young and intending young graduates seeking to earn a living in our profession.  We must help them as part of our social responsibility to catch them young including full membership of CRFFN.

“Mr. President is hereby directed by the Founder and the board to release additional ten million naira from our last election account to the registration committee in-charge of CRFFN election 2018”.

He continued,” It is also expected that members of NAGAFF with means shall raise 30 million naira to add up registration and logistics requirements thereto for the coming election in Abuja.

“Even though NAGAFF is in a good standing to win all seats during the election, we shall not take any chances again because of our bitter experience during the maiden election into the Council.

“This time around it is going to be cash for cash aside for the fact that we have individual and corporate members ahead of all others and in particular individual members”.
