…Promises to pursue restructuring of Nigeria if elected

An aspirant to the Orumba North/South Federal Constituency of Anambra State in the 2019 general election, Captain Casmir Nwafor (rtd.) has pledged to kick start the process of restructuring the country if elected as a member of the House of Representatives.

Nwafor who made this known as part of his commitment to the people of his constituency noted that something that is false is not real, hence doesn’t exist adding that the major agenda of all regions in Nigeria that want a peaceful, united and progressive Nigeria is the immediate restructuring of Nigeria to achieve a true Federation.

He added that the next four years shall be the last of the false arrangement presently being operated in the country that has further divided her people and made them unproductive as a nation.

According to him,” The major agenda of all regions in Nigeria that want a peaceful, united and progressive Nigeria is the immediate restructuring of Nigeria to achieve a true Federation. Something that is false is not real, hence doesn’t exist. I am a strong advocate of that restructuring agenda.

“From the very day of the inauguration of the next session of Nigeria’s National Assembly in June 2019, which by the special grace of God I shall be a member, the restructuring process shall start. The next four years shall be the last of the false arrangement we presently have in this country that has further divided us and made us unproductive as a nation.

“I shall use all legal means and contacts to sensitize, mobilize and work with Nigerians and my colleagues in the National Assembly to actualize that Agenda. The forces of evil shall not stand on the way of this agenda. In the past, the process has been more of lip service than action. Ooh! So sorry to disappoint the feudal Lords, the mediocre and those who benefit from the current redundancy of the country and impoverishing of our people; people without conscience and no sympathy for the insecurity and suffering of majority of our people today especially in Northern Nigeria.

“By the special grace of God, in 2023 Nigeria shall return to regional governments and Parliamentary System of Government as our forefathers agreed for Nigeria. The present Presidential System of Government is too expensive and riddled with tendencies for high corruption and injustice. Other contentious issues shall be discussed accordingly in the National Assembly as there shall not be any no-go area.

“We must restructure or we bust. There is no need romancing falsehood or playing with words. God bless hardworking Nigerians”.
