Atikulated Agenda 2019 DG, Emeka Kalu drums support for Ikpeazu’s re-election bid

The Director General of Atikulated Agenda 2019, Chief Emeka Kalu has advised Abians to re-elect Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State for the second term.

Kalu said his reasons for endorsing Ikpeazu is due to the developmental strides he is taking, and more importantly, to ensure that Abia South completes their eight years in the spirit of equity.

Kalu gave this advice while responding to questions from journalists in a telephone chat.

Chief Emeka Kalu equally said that there is no option to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), both in Abia and presidency, and cautioned that it will be dangerous going into an experiment they will regret.

His words: “Governor Ikpeazu should be re-elected to complete the good records he has set in Abia. He has started developing Abia my dear state and it will be a pity for anyone to interrupt him midway in an experiment that is to fail like the APC promise of change. If Abia fall into the kind of monumental mistake Nigerians made in 2015, then we are doomed.

“Another reason Ikpeazu must be re-elected is for the sake of equity. Since Abia North and South have taken their slots in the governorship race, Abia South just got on the saddle with Ikpeazu. Would you get him off governance just after four years? The right thing is for him to complete the slot and power will return to north. That’s equity, and Abians must demonstrate that they are their brother’s keeper by ensuring that all the zones are evenly represented”, he argued.
