Contrary to rumours making the round that Mr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya a.k.a MC Olu-omo is dead, the Lagos State Task Force has described the rumour as untrue even as it stated that Olu-omo is not dead as being circulated but still responding to medical treatment at the hospital.
The Task Force in a statement released yesterday in Lagos noted that members of the public who were still in doubt may wish to contact members of his family for any information.
The agency therefore warned miscreants and hoodlums who might want to use this opportunity to foment any trouble to immediately desist as anybody caught disturbing the peace of innocent members of the public would be seriously dealt with.
It further enjoined parents and guardians to be vigilant about activities of their wards as both the Lagos State Police command and the operatives of the Lagos State Task Force were on ground patrolling.
The statement reads,” The operatives of the Lagos State Task Force wish to dispel the rumour being circulating round the State particularly on social media that Mr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (a.k.a MC OLU-OMO) is dead.
“This is to state unequivocally that Mr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (a.k.a M.C Olu-omo) is not dead as been circulated but still responding to medical treatment at hospital.
“For any avoidance of doubt members of his family could be contacted for further information.

It will be recalled that Olu-omo, a factional leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) was stabbed and wounded at the venue of the Governorship campaign flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos on Tuesday and was initially rushed to Eko Hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Lagos State Police command has since declared Mr. Mustapha Adekunle a.k.a Seigo wanted in connection with the violence that broke out at the rally which left one person dead and several others including a journalist wounded. Police has however confirmed the arrest of sixteen persons in connection with the crisis.
