Comrade Abuchi Onwumelu of Fides Newspaper recently received an appreciation cum commendation letter from the House Assembly member-elect for Orumba North State Constituency, Hon. Chief Emeka Aforka (Nwachinemeze N’Orumba North) for his media expertise, work ethics, dexterity, creativity and professionalism.
Presenting the uncommon award at his country home, Umudiabor Village Ndiowu, in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon. Aforka who contested under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) said the purpose of the letter was to convey his special appreciation to Onwumelu whom he described as a core professional and a thoroughbred.
In his words, “The purpose of this letter is to convey my special appreciation to you for the stratagems, media expertise, ingenuity, creativity and approaches you deployed in the course of my electioneering campaigns.
“My brother, your media strategies and resourcefulness brightened up my campaigns, your prayers made me to enjoy unlimited grace, your grassroots mobilization made me to conquer political destitution and secure victory on the 9th March, 2019 House of Assembly elections.
“In recognition of the above, I am truly grateful to you and the entire members of your family. May the good Lord reward your labour of commitment to my victory at the polls.
“With utmost assurance, I am committed to fulfilling my campaign promises, thus improving the standard of living of my constituents. Bearing in mind the onerous task ahead of me, may I use this medium to also request for your sustained supports, advice, prayers and direction at all times.
As you extend my appreciation to your family, kindly accept my warmest regards, please”, Aforka concluded.
Responding, Comrade Abuchi Onwumelu thanked the member-elect for the recognition, noting that that the letter would spur him on to perform even better, even as he dedicated the letter to Online publishers, Bloggers, Social Media influencers, On Air Personalities (OAPs), journalists, print and electronic media and media practitioners across the country.
