An astute real estate consultant, Dr. Jerry Nwakobi has identified unstable power supply and lack of good roads by government at all level as factors militating against the development of real estate business in Nigeria.

Nwakobi who made this known shortly after being conferred with an honorary Doctorate Degree by the European-American University Commonwealth of Dominica African Regional Operations said that government should provide good access roads to various estates scattered across Nigeria.

According to him, “My greatest challenge in life was being born as a poor boy, but my greatest challenge in the industry is that there were no helping hands. Any access road to the estate should be provided by the government”.

He stated that corruption has been the key factor why Nigeria still remains undeveloped for ages saying, “The saint will be corrupt after gotten elected because when the good ones try to change the system, they end up corrupted by the system”.

On improvement of buildings in the country, the expert urged the government to punish the builders responsible for any collapse buildings in the country so that others would learn their lesson.

While appealing to Nigerians to support and encourage the good eggs among the bad eggs, he however stated that his sojourn into politics was to join the good ones fight corruption.
