The embattled Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Chief Henry Njoku has given the assurances that the crisis rocking the association will soon be over as efforts are on to make it happen.

Njoku who disclosed this in a chat with newsmen in Lagos on Thursday believed that there would be solution to the crisis which has torn the once peaceful association into two in the last one year.

He recalled that there was a time when there used to be ANLCA 1, 2, 3, 4 but the different factions were reunited as a result of his efforts assuring that this one would not be different.

According to him,” I believe that there will be solution. Let me tell you, if you watch ANLCA previously, they had ANLCA 1, 2, 3, 4, who resolved the matter, it was me.

“We removed tribal sentiments, what happened was the outgoing President, on his leaving, maybe on the way instigated tribal sentiment in association. The association does not have tribe in its constitution; it has qualified people to hold key positions.

“A situation where a tribe will say, leave this position for me because this person is there does not arise but I will assure you that those matters will be resolved very soon and we are working very hard to do that”.
