The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the premier Chamber and a leading voice of advocacy in the organized private sector in Nigeria has commenced online registration and booking for the 2019 Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF) by opening the sales portal for the Fair.
Director General of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Muda Yusuf who disclosed this in Lagos, also announced that United Bank for Africa PLC (UBA) has been officially signed as the Headline Partner of the Fair.
The two big brands, LCCI and UBA, will be working together to give exciting services to visitors and exhibitors at the Fair.
According to Yusuf, the 2019 edition of the fair will hold from Friday 1st November to Sunday 10th November, 2019 at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) Lagos.
Yusuf also added that existing and potential exhibitors have been making enquiries on the Fair; saying the opening of the portal would give opportunity to potential exhibitors to book and pay for their spaces online early enough.
The LITF hosts an average of 2,000 exhibitors annually, with over 200 foreign exhibitors from 16 countries. This year is the 33rd edition of the Fair which is the biggest in Sub Saharan Africa.
UBA, the Pan African financial institution, has branches in 20 African countries, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and France.
“LCCI believes that this is part of the bold initiatives of the bank with a corporate culture founded upon strong organisational values and performance-driven operating standards”, he noted.
Yusuf stressed that the Chamber would maintain the brand promise of the Fair, which has been christened Connecting Businesses, Creating Value, adding that this shall be sustained this year in all its marketing campaigns.
He maintained that the big changes introduced to the Fair last year will be sustained this year.
