NAGAFF Academy gets Governing Council

The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has constituted a new Governing Council for its Academy, as part of efforts to rejig its skill acquisition mandate to intending players in the total logistics management supply chain industry who desire to improve their skill and knowledge about the current trend in the industry.

A statement signed by the National President of the association, Chief Increase Uche and made available to Primetime Reporters on Monday gave the names of the constituted Governing Council members to include; Simeon Nwonu – Chairman, Francis Omotoso – Registrar, Prof. Iyiola Oni – Consultant, Chief Increase Uche – Member, Barr. Fred Akokhia – Member and Dipo Olayoku – Member.

Others are; Okey Nerus – Member, Dr. Arthur Igwilo – Member, Dr. Okey Okoro – Member, Barth Okeke – Member and Melody Obehi – Member.

The statement noted that the Governing Council was expected to guide the institution through its teething stage and help it to put its foot firmly down in the sand of time.

“Towards this end, the Governing Council is to, among other things, advance the framework for the Academy, its curriculum, and put necessary machinery in motion to ensure its accreditation by the respective government and educational regulatory agencies.

“While congratulating the newly appointed Governing Council members of the NAGAFF Academy, please accept the assurances of the esteemed regards of the NAGAFF management”, the statement added.
