President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the composition of the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) with Dr. Pius Odubu from Edo State as Chairman.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary,( General Services Office), Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Olusegun A. Adekunle, Esq, named Bernard O. Okumagba from Delta State as Managing Director, Engr. Otobong Ndem from Akwa-Ibom State as Executive Director Projects and Maxwell Okoh from Bayelsa State as Executive Director Finance & Admin.
Others include; Prophet Jones Erue representing Delta State, Chief Victor Ekhatar representing Edo State, Dr. Joy Yimebe Nunieh representing Rivers, Nwogu Nwogu – Abia, Theodore A. Allison – Bayelsa and Victor Antai – Akwa Ibom.
Others are; Maurice Effiwatt – Cross River, Olugbenga Elema – Ondo, Hon. Uchegbu Chidiebere Kyrian – Imo, Murtala Muhammed – Kano, Ardo Zubairu – Adamawa and Engr. Badmus Mutalib – Lagos.
The statement directed that interim management headed by Maxwell Okoh from Bayelsa hand-over to the most senior Director in the Commission.
It further invited the Chairman and members of the newly composed Governing Board to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation on Monday 2nd September, 2019 at 2.00 pm for proper documentation and briefing.
“They are to come along with their updated CVs and valid identification”, the statement added.
