…Moves office
The Network on Police Reforms in Nigeria (NOPRIN) has appointed a new National Coordinator with effect from August 1, 2019. He is Mr. Emmanuel Ikule.
According to a statement by the National Chairman, Coordinating Committee, NOPRIN Foundation, Saviour Akpan Esq., Ikule is taking over from Mr. Okechukwu Nwanguma who served as National Coordinator for over 10 years.
The statement said that Mr. Ikule, comes with a wealth of experience having worked with Benue NGO Network, BENGONET Rural Development Initiative.
It added that he is passionate about criminal justice issues, especially as it affects rural communities and vulnerable groups; women, young persons and persons with disabilities.
“He is a trained conflict management specialist and is versed in network organization and management. It is the believe of the BOARD of NOPRIN, that Mr. Ikule will move NOPRIN to the next level on police reforms issues in Nigeria”, the statement said.
The statement further said that NOPRIN had moved office temporarily to No. 21 Akinsanya Street, off Isheri Road by FRSC Office, Taiwo Bus Stop, Ojodu- Berger, Ikeja, Lagos adding that all correspondences henceforth should be directed to Mr. Ikule.
“On behalf of the BOARD of NOPRIN, we thank all stakeholders and members of the public for the support the network has been receiving over the years and we do look forward to continued support under the new leadership of Mr. Ikule”, it added.
