The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Haruna Mohammed who confirmed that arrest to newsmen in Awka on Wednesday revealed that following intelligence report, Police detectives attached to Central Police Station Onitsha in collaboration with Oraifite Division arrested the murder suspect yesterday in his hideout at Onitsha.

He stated that exhibits recovered from the suspect included a travelling bag and a knife reasonably suspected to have been used in perpetrating the act.
