Three female suspects arrested in Anambra for allegedly stealing two kids

The Anambra State Police command has arrested three female suspects for allegedly stealing two kids in Anambra.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Haruna Mohammed who disclosed this in a statement in Awka on Saturday informed that the suspects were arrested at Nkpor market/ Tarzan junction in Idemili Local Government Area of the state about 10.45am on Tuesday by Police detectives attached to the CMU of the command.

Mohammed added that the suspects were arrested with two kids all males whose age ranges between 2 and 4 years respectively noting that they could neither give satisfactory explanation about the children nor where they got them.

He further stated that the case was under investigation after which suspects would be charged to court for prosecution.

He noted that the Commissioner of Police, Anambra State, CP John Abang had urged parents whose children got missing and fall within the above age bracket to report at the PPRO office, State Command Headquarters Awka for proper identification and collect their children.
