CIS celebrates Vicky Haastrup at 2019 Annual Lecture/Investiture

The Certified Institute of Shipping of Nigeria will celebrate a woman of substance and its President/Chairman, Governing Council, Princess (Dr.) Vicky Haastrup at its 2019 Annual Lecture/Investiture coming up on Thursday 21st November, 2019.

The celebration of Haastrup who has helped in no small measure in upgrading the institute’s infrastructural facilities in the past two years coincides with this year’s Annual Lecture/ Investiture which includes awards to notable maritime personalities and convocation ceremony.

The occasion will also include official commissioning of Princess (Dr.) Vicky Haastrup Multipurpose Auditorium.

The state of the art and well furnished, fully air-conditioned Princess (Dr.) Vicky Haastrup Multipurpose Auditorium will serve as the venue of the annual lecture/investiture which theme is “Gender Balance: Critical Resource and Leverage for Accelerated Growth In Nigeria’s Maritime – Transport Sector.”

Dignitaries from all walks of life and especially from the maritime world  are expected to grace the occasion.
