The General overseer, Life of Faith Gospel Assembly, 3-3 Onitsha, Bishop Emmanuel Obiorah yesterday donated sixty cartons of hand sanitizers to Anambra State Police Command as part of his social responsibility to support the police in the fight against the spread of COVID -19 which has become a global pandemic.
Responding on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, DCP Chris Owolabi thanked the Bishop on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP John Abang for remembering the police and also extended the appreciation of the Inspector-general of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu.
He assured the Bishop that the hand sanitizers would be judiciously distributed to all formations within the command for use by all officers and men of the command.
According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, SP Haruna Mohammed in Awka yesterday, the Bishop was represented by Dr. JPC Anyadiegwu, Managing Director, Emos Best Industries Limited.
