The Journalists International Forum for Migration (JIFORM) is set to host the fourth series of its online summit with speakers from several African countries and Germany participating.

The event themed Migration: Remedies For Covid-19 and the Economy will be hosted on zoom and the Whatsapp platform of the international media body with over 200 journalists across the continents covering migration related issues.

Speaking on the summit, JIFORM President, Ajibola Abayomi, in a statement issued in Lagos on Wednesday said lecturers from Ghana Immigration service, Bostwana Anti- human trafficking agency, migration counselors from Germany and Tunisia have confirmed their participation.

Apart from these, Ajibola stated that National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and the Nigeria Immigration Service have also signaled intention to be part of the event.

The programme is scheduled to hold in two sessions between May 29 and 30, 2020 and June 5 and 6, 2020.
