Shippers’ Council mourns as Muniru dies at 52

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has announced the demise of one of its staff, Mr. Yusuf Muniru who died at the age of 52.

In a statement signed by the Head, Public Relations, NSC, Rakiya Zubairu on Tuesday in Lagos, the Council that the deceased died yesterday morning while preparing to go to work.

The statement while describing the deceased as a valued and conscientious staff of the Council, however stated that Yusuf who had been buried would be sorely missed by his wife Mary Oladunjoye and 5 children as well as his colleagues in the Nigerian Shippers’ Council.

It reads, “With heavy hearts but with submission to the will of God, the family of Oladunjoye and the Management of Nigerian Shippers Council announce the transition of Yusuf Muniru at the age of 52.

“He passed on this morning at his home as he was preparing to come to work.

“A valued and conscientious staff of the Council, Yusuf who has been buried will be sorely missed by his wife Mary Oladunjoye and 5 children as well as his colleagues in the Nigerian Shippers’ Council.

“May his soul rest in peace.”
