In addition to the State Government’s effort to combat Coronavirus pandemic, the administration of Chief Willie Obiano has taken another vital step by commencing a daily update initiative to keep the people in the know.

Announcing the new development, Dr. Vincent Okpala, the State Commissioner for Health emphasized the importance of access to latest and accurate information in a pandemic.

“The move would serve to arm the citizens with sufficient information concerning the spread, containment and treatment of Covid-19 pandemic in the State,” Okpala explained.

The daily update involves series of charts indicating the spread of Coronavirus across the 21 local government areas in the State and other relevant statistical analysis that will guide ndị Anambra and concerned professionals on best ways to survive the pandemic.

With this initiative, ndị Anambra can easily access most recent updates on Coronavirus in the State by simply following @DEOAnambra on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in addition to the charts to be constantly released by the State’s Ministry of Health via different media platforms.
