We will police Lagos with robust intelligence – Odumosu

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, on Wednesday addressed the operatives of the intelligence unit of the police in Lagos State Command, reiterating that Lagos State will be policed with robust intelligence.

While charging them to be proactive and responsive in discharging their duties, he affirmed that modern and effective policing is propelled by prompt and relevant intelligence.

The Police Chief, who was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations, DCP Mohammed Ali, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Rapid Response Squad, DCP Tunji Disu and other members of the management team to the meeting held at the Command’s conference Hall, GRA Ikeja, hinted the operatives of the State Intelligence Bureau, Lagos State of the Inspector-General of Police’s  policing ideologies that are consolidated by robust intelligence via the principles of Community Policing.

CP Hakeem Odumosu seized the opportunity to appeal to Lagosians to share information with the police as such information revealed will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

He also assured the general public of adequate security of lives and property and public safety in Lagos State.
