Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of 17 Permanent Secretaries in the Lagos State Public Service. The appointments take effect immediately, according to a statement by the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
The appointees are: Dr. MUSTAFA, Ibrahim Akinwunmi; Consultant Special, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, AYOOLA, Iyabo Oyeyemi; Director, Projects Financial Mgt. Unit, State Treasury Office, GEORGE, Abosede Oluwakemi; Director, Admin/ Human Resource, Sustainable Development Goals & Investment, HUNDOGAN, Sewanu Temitope; Director, Finance & Accounts, State Treasury Office, ENGR. (MRS) KOSEGBE, Abiola; General Manager, Lagos State Building Control Agency and ONAYELE, Augustine Abiodun;Secretary, Lagos State Scholarship Board.
Others are: ADEDOYIN-AJAYI, Adenike; Head, Branding One Stop Shop (Citizens Gate, Service Charter &EODB), OTCI, SANGOWANWA, Olutomi Ajose; Surveyor-General, Office of the State Surveyor-General, ODUGUWA, Olusola; Director, Central Internal Audit, Office of the Chief of Staff, OLAJIDE, Charles Adeboye; Principal, Lagos Baptist Senior College, Orile Agege and MACHADO-ONANUGA, Toyin Olamide; Director, Public Service Standard & Performance Directorate, PSO.
Also appointed are: GAJI, Omobolaji Tajudeen; Director, Physiotherapy Services, Health Service Commission, OLOWOSHAGO, Kamar Owodiran; Director, Home Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, SIMONE, Olayinka Fashola; Director, Admin/Human Resource, Office of Education Quality Assurance, DABA, Mobolaji Mojisola; Director, Admin/Human Resource, Public Service Office, OSHODI, Salimot Tolani; Director, Admin/Human Resource, Lands Bureau and KASALI, Adeniran Waheed; Head of Training, Public Service Staff Development Centre.
Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola explained that the appointments were made after a rigorous screening, which spanned over two months, culminating in Mr. Governor’s one-on-one interview of the shortlisted candidates.
Muri-Okunola expressed confidence that the appointees possess the qualities, competence and experience required to serve as Permanent Secretaries in the Lagos State Public Service.
