As Governor Obiano led administration winds down; the priority interest and key aspects of industrialization becomes the talking point round the State especially as the abandoned promise on industrial revolution by the outgoing government remained unkempt, recording no growth. Ndi Anambra are on the look for a helmsman with the requisite experience and political will to raise the tempo on industrialization to correlate with the GDP development of the State, nicknamed “Light of the Nation”.

This is particularly imperative because it will increase the influx of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and impact on the economic growth of the state.

Dr. Wilson Chidozie Nwankwo, AAC Gubernatorial Candidate is the man with the much needed blueprint on industrialization and diversification of the State’s economy. He is not a man of endless theorizing, of much talk, but one who believes in vision, strategy and actions. He is resolutely committed to the actualization of an industrial revolution and prosperous future for Ndi-Anambra.

As a successful industrialist and seasoned entrepreneur, industrializing Anambra State is topmost in his agenda. His target is to see the addition of at least 50 new industries in Anambra within 4 years that manufacture a variety of products the country currently import translating to over 100,000 direct manufacturing jobs which will in turn open the bigger doors of ensuring the equitable sharing of economic prosperity, inclusive growth and shared prosperity which underscores his keen interest in catering for the needy and vulnerable.

Dr. Chido’s industrialization vision and plan will accelerate the pace of Anambra State economy, promote economic diversification, enhance competitiveness and ensure social inclusion through the eradication of multiple and regressive taxation system ongoing in the state, introduction of tax holidays and incentives for investments in infrastructure and capital markets. He is optimistic of attaining higher and more inclusive GDP growth in order to achieve the objective of massive job creation and raising the needed revenues for government to provide the lacking infrastructures of transport, communications and energy systems.

As a seasoned industrialist and Chairman/CEO of Wichtech Group, one of the largest importers and distributors of roofing and plumbing products in Africa, with 200 offices and over 4,000 staff throughout Nigeria, with an outstanding international partner of AHI Roofing Ltd, a New Zealand’s roofing company supplying stone coated metal roofing products worldwide enabling distribution for AHI in Ghana, Benin and Cameroon; Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo is set and ever ready to return Anambra State to its prime position in the country and register its exploits on the global trend.

For him, the time is ripe to bring together the business clusters of Nnewi and Onitsha, develop the agrarian-based communities of Anambra North and the exportation of value-added products rather than primary products with a bid of earning higher revenues for the state and using same for the common good, enhance standard of living, run reformist government that will reawaken life standards in historical Anambra State.

Dr. Chido is stepping forward to REBUILD, RESTORE and RENEW.

A New Anambra is possible with Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo and AAC!
