Ohanaeze Youth Council, OYC, under the aegis of Comrd. Igboayaka O. Igboayaka has sternly warned every Southeast presidential aspirant of the impending jeopardy of accepting the position of Vice President in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

This is following a publication by Daily Independent Newspapers dated May 4, 2022 on alleged plot by Mr. Peter Obi to accept a running mate slot, hence Vice President to Atiku Abubakar.

In reaction while speaking to newsmen to the sudden development hence “a political gimmick” in Abuja, May 4, Comrd. Igboayaka O Igboayaka advised Mr. Peter Obi to “stand and remain resolute in pursuit of your 2023 presidential ambition”, describing the latter’s presidential ambition as a new political revolutionary that will hit Nigeria.

Expressing his acrimony over the perceived awful development, Igboayaka said, “Any Attempt to deny Southeast Presidency in 2023 will cause a revolution that will disintegrate Nigeria within 6 months.

“We, therefore, challenge any Southeast presidential aspirant that considered himself a man to dare come to Southeast as a running mate to a Northerner. There’s no doubt that injustice brings chaos and anarchy, any injustice against Southeast in 2022 primary election is a call for anarchy.

“All the presidential aspirants in APC and PDP should collectively work for Southeast interest, we’re watching the whole scenario, we’re monitoring Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu and Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, we are keeping our findings confidential”, Igboayaka stated.

Speaking further, he reiterated that the Nigeria president of Southeast extraction 2023, despite all oddities, remained inevitable, insisting that, “Nigerian should make choice to either accommodate Southeast in Nigeria or separation becomes inevitable.”
