CRFFN Governing Council Chairman, Abubakar Tsanni congratulates Sambo, Adegoroye over appointment as Transportation Ministers

The Chairman, Governing Council of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), Alhaji Dr. Abubakar Tsanni has congratulated Engr. Mu’azu Sambo and Mr. Ademola Adegoroye over their appointments by President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday as the Minister of Transportation and the Minister of State for Transportation respectively.

Tsanni in a statement signed and made available to our correspondent by the Chairman, Committee on Government Inter-Agencies, Media and Public Relations of the Council, Hon. Muftahu Ya’u lauded President Muhammad Buhari for appointing an experienced, hardworking leader and a patriot in person of Alhaji Mu’azu Jaji Sambo as new Minister of Transportation and Ademola Adegoroye as the new Minister of State, Transportation.

He appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Sambo who he described as a round peg in a round hole to man a ministry as critical as the Ministry of Transportation.

The Council Chairman described the new Transportation Minister as a competent, experienced and patriotic leader who shall continue to execute various developmental projects already started by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

While congratulating the Ministers, Alhaji Abubakar Tsanni pledged the support of the CRFFN to the new Ministers to enable them succeed in their new appointments.

He said, “Let me begin by thanking President Muhammadu Buhari for your appointment to the Ministry at a time when the Ministry is in need of a competent, experienced and patriotic leader who shall continue to execute various developmental projects already started by the current administration of President Muhammad Buhari. With you as Minister, we clearly see more hope and progress coming to the Ministry.

“We at CRFFN, therefore, congratulate and welcome you to your new office. The Council is ever ready to work hand in hand with you to achieve President Buhari administration’s Development Agenda for the Transport Sector.

“I pray that God will continue to give you the wisdom and guidance to keep on with your well known and well cherished character of giving your best to the nation and humanity.”

Engr. Mu’azu Sambo (Taraba) and Ademola Adegoroye (Ondo) replaced the former Transportation Minister, Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and the Minister of State for Transportation, Senator Gbemi Saraki.

Sambo who was redeployed from the Ministry of Works and Housing where he served as Minister of State replaces Amaechi who resigned his position to participate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election while Adegoroye replaces Saraki who was moved to the Ministry of Mines and Power as Minister of State.
