As the race to who occupies the exalted office of the National Secretary of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) reaches cresendo, Chief Uba Lawrence Chukwubunna was a Guest to the Oodua Descendants Freight Forwarders Global Association during its meeting held on Tuesday at Atinuke Plaza by Cele Bus Stop.

Uba and his entourage were given a rousing welcome by the association led by its President, Hon. Segun Adefioye. In his speech, the President assured the contestant of total support of his group and promised him of over forty licenses which would be put to work for his success at the polls.

He described Chief Uba as principled and hardworking person having worked with him in the past. He admonished him to ensure that he works in harmony with Dr. Kayode Farinto who he described as the incoming National President of ANLCA when he wins.

Earlier in his address, Chief Uba reeled out his Curriculum Vitae and explained that he had seen it all, learnt the ropes adding that time has come for him to serve the association at the National level for a better and greater ANLCA.

The President surrounded by stakeholders performed the symbolic raising of hands to seal their endorsement of his candidature.

It would be remembered that leadership of ASIMPIN, few weeks back also endorsed Uba for the race that is turning out to be a one horse race.

Chief Ubah’s campaign train continues as KLT, Airport and PTML chapters are in view.

Highlight of the visit was the moment the elders of the association stretched forth their hands and prayed for the success of Chief Uba come May 25th, 2023 ANLCA NECOM Election.
