Ramadan: Group supports vulnerable with food items worth N1.2m in Jigawa

The Babura Unity Development Forum, BUDEF has distributed food items worth One Million, Two Hundred Thousand Naira as Ramadan package to over two hundred and thirty seven less-privileges in Babura town.

The Chairman of the Forum, Engineer Abdurrazaq Nakore stated this in an interview to newsmen in Babura.

He commended members of the Forum, among other individuals for their contributions towards the success of the program which has been an annual event of the Forum in the holy month of Ramadan.

Engineer Nakore urged the people to utilize the Ramadan period to offer prayers for the peace and economic well-being of the Muslim Ummah.

The items distributed include: rice, maize, spaghetti, sugar and Maggi cubes.

Shedding more lights, the Group Chairman, Engineer Nakore further stated this was in addition to rendering other various assistance to the needy frequently by the association.
