The immediate past Deputy Majority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emeka Aforka has showered encomiums on the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his recent inauguration of the Special Anti-touting Squad, SASA and the investiture of graduates of the state’s 1 youth 2 skills programme.
Hon. Aforka who spoke shortly after attending the 1 Youth 2 Skills empowerment event at the International Convention Center, ICC, Awka on Friday described Governor Soludo as an “uncommon administrator, the outstanding leader of our time and a rare gem with clear vision and commitment to transform Anambra state into a Smart-Mega livable Homeland.”
He called on the well-meaning people of Orumba North and the entire Ndi Anambra to remain steadfast in their support and solidarity for the Solution Administration in the state.
His words, “Leaders like Prof. Chukwuma Soludo are indeed very rare in our present day Nigerian society and in Africa at large. His Excellency, our amiable Governor represents the future that we all see today”, he stated.
According to him, a closer examination into the SASA initiative and the 1 Youth, 2 Skills Initiative, revealed an avowed commitment towards sanitizing our public spaces, capacity building and dealing with a large army of unemployed youth through jobs creation. He further expressed his happiness and joy to the Governor for these laudable initiatives; noting that our Governor has shown acceptable capacity to make Anambra a livable and secured homeland.
Hon. Aforka used the opportunity to congratulate all the beneficiaries of the programs and schemes for their successful engagement with the Anambra state government. He equally admonished them to ensure that they live-up to expectations by deploying the new knowledge, skills and abilities into their chosen endeavours in order not to betray the confidence reposed on them by the Governor. He urged all the youths to remain steadfast in their hope for a better and brighter tomorrow.
Hon. Aforka expressed optimism on the sustainability of these programs and therefore, called on Ndi- Anambra to support the Governor on all his unmatched policies and programs as his administration is poised to engender meaningful development in the state for the good of all.
