TY Buratai Foundation Condemns Killings In Isreal-Hamas War, Urges Immediate Ceasefire, Global Action

In the midst of the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, the TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation stands united in its condemnation of the escalating violence and loss of innocent lives. 

The foundation, guided by the principles of its esteemed Grand Patron, His Excellency Amb. Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusufu Buratai, Rtd, emphasized the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire and a return to the negotiation table.

This was Contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the Foundation, Amb. Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani and made available to the media.

The statement observed that the devastating consequences of this war have been felt on both sides, with casualties mounting among children, women, and the elderly adding that “It is disheartening to witness the absence of sympathy and empathy in the face of such immense human suffering.

It noted that the Foundation firmly believed that every life is precious, and the indiscriminate loss of innocent lives is a tragedy that demands immediate attention.

The statement quoted the Foundation as calling upon the international community, particularly the United Nations, to implement all relevant resolutions on the Middle East Question saying, “It is imperative that the global community takes a united stand against the ongoing violence and works towards a peaceful resolution.”

“The TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation firmly believes in the power of diplomacy and dialogue to resolve conflicts and prevent further bloodshed.

“Furthermore, the principles of the Foundation’s Grand Patron, His Excellency Amb Lt Gen Tukur Yusufu Buratai Rtd CFR, emphasize the value of human life and a deep respect for the rule of law. His Excellency’s commitment to humanitarian causes and his unwavering dedication to promoting peace and stability make him an exemplary figure in the fight against all forms of violence and injustice.

“The TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation urges the international community to stand together in condemning all forms of killings, regardless of the location or the parties involved. It is crucial that we recognize the universal value of human life and work towards a world where conflicts are resolved through peaceful means.

“As the carnage in the Israel-Hamas war continues, it is not too late for the world to take a collective stand against the violence and advocate for an immediate ceasefire. The TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting peace, justice, and the preservation of innocent lives. It is our shared responsibility to ensure a safer and more compassionate world for all”, the statement said.
