…Prays, fast for Gov. Abbah Yusuf’s Victory At Supreme Court

The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), the parent body of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has announced dry fasting and prayer sessions for all its members nationwide in a bid to secure victory for Governor Abbah Kabir Yusuf of Kano State in the Supreme Court.

A press statement signed by the Founder of NAGAFF and NNPP, Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam, directed members of both groups nationwide to commence prayer and dry fasting for six hours every day so that Governor Abbah Kabir Yusuf’s victory at the February governorship poll can be upheld by the highest court in the land.

Aniebonam appealed to all men and women of God with good conscience and goodwill to join members of the party nationwide on Thursday the 14th of December 2023 to pray for victory at the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

“We know that we won the election convincingly but here we are in Nigeria and Africa in general politicians and power may be doubtful and anything can happen.

“However it is the general belief that the Supreme Court of Nigeria shall ensure justice, equity, and fairness to all Nigerians at every critical time.

“Under the circumstances of concurrent judgment against us in this matter, we believe that the driving force shall be the fear of God to upturn every injustice done to Gov Abbah Kabir Yusuf and the New Nigeria Peoples Party at the tribunal and appeal court,” the statement stressed.

The statement further said that the party and its parent body are hereby running to God for His intervention to give the Supreme Court judges the courage and wisdom to protect the children of God in victory.

“Definitely, something is wrong somewhere because it is only political parties that determine her membership and not any other person. It is also only INEC that determines valid votes and not any other person or institution,” the statement added.

According to the statement, there will be a combined prayer programme at  NAGAFF Village, 2a Maybin St., Apapa GRA Lagos on 14th December 2023 by 12 noon.
