Commissioner for Housing, Anambra State, Hon. Pauly Onyeka has showered encomiums on the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo on his plans to connect the current Awka City, Amasea, Ntokor with Awka 2 and Isiagu axis so as to realize the desire mega city for the South East.
Hon. Onyeka stated this while receiving JC Michaels Limited and their overseas partners awarded the construction of 1,000 Ultra Modern Lock up Shops at Isiagu, Awka South Local Government Area. The courtesy visit was at the Commissioner’s office at the Jerome Udorji Secretariat, Awka .
He said that Anambra State Government is constructing 1,000 Ultra Modern Lock up Shops at Isiagu through Public Private Partnership, PPP, with JC Michaels Limited which was being midwifed by the Anambra State Investment Protection and Promotion Agency, ANIPPA.
Hon. Onyeka assured them that the numerous projects being embarked by the Government with others that are yet to be started will be completed to achieve the desired livable mega city by the State Government.
Some of the on-going projects at Isiagu, he enumerated include; building , Construction and international Hotel, five Ultra Modern Housing Estate being developed by private company and international Gulf Course among others.
Commissioner Onyeka said that when they were done with the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency, ANSIPPA, they should take the project more seriously so that they would deliver quality shops for the prospective allottee to benefit .
Earlier in his speech, the Chairman of JC Michaels Nigeria Limited, Mr. Amuzie Jude assured that they will not leave any stone unturned as they have the experience and capacity having done similar projects in the past like the Lagos International school at Ajah, Lagos State.
