The immediate past member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, last Monday, played host to the members of Anambra Mandate For Good Governance, AMFGG; United Youth Assembly, U-AYA as well as United Women Assembly, U-AWA drawn from the twenty-one local government areas of the state in Awka, the Anambra State Capital.

Addressing the groups, the former Federal lawmaker commended the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo on what he described as quality infrastructure and good governance.

The Former All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA Candidate in the February 25, 2023 National Assembly election who described Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a game changer whose administration has promoted quality infrastructure and good governance said that his administration had left no stone unturned towards promoting quality infrastructure and good governance in the state.

While encouraging members of the associations to be more committed, focused and determined, Hon. Obidigwe maintained that Governor Soludo deserves a second chance because of his sterling performance and in line with the zoning arrangement in the state.

The associations at the end of the meeting stated unequivocally that Governor Soludo would be supported to clinch another landslide victory come 2025.

Others who spoke at the occasion included the National President of AMFGG, Chief Emmanuel Ogugua, the Chairman Board of Trustees (BoT) of AMFGG, Chief Cyprian Okereke and Hon. Tony Nwakaeze of the U-AYA expressed the hope that the Governor would be returned come 2025.

Highlights of the meeting include special reports from various local governments and distribution of the association’s new year bags of rice and other palliative for its members.
