He equally called on Mobereola to focus on the capacity development of the staff of the agency and invest heavily on staff development for them to be better equipped to key into his vision for the agency, by so doing, achieve his mandate.
“I urge the new DG to build an atmosphere of innovation, collaboration and synergy, creating an atmosphere that encourages the development of the employees’ skill sets, talents, and creativity”, APFFLON National President said urging him to extend such capacity development to freight forwarders and other critical stakeholders in the industry so that together, they would build a virile marine and blue economy.
He thereafter thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for entrusting Mobereola with the responsibility of steering the affairs of the Agency at this moment in the history of the Marine and Blue Economy even as he requested for the cooperation and guidance of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola to enable the DG to settle down effortlessly and work with him to better the industry.
While pledging the support of the members of his association, Otunba Frank Ogunojemite invited other critical stakeholders in the Marine and Blue Economy to collaborate and cooperate with the new DG in the onerous task of steering the ship of NIMASA and by extension the shipping industry in Nigeria.
