An X user simply identified as Samzy has accused the Guarantee Trust Bank, GTBank of exploiting Nigerians with regards to the payment rate for US VISA Fee.

In a post on his official handle @SamzyVG with the title, “Excessive VISA Fee Rate: A Blow To Nigerians, the user accused the bank of charging “a hefty” N1,800/$ rate while the current exchange rate hovers around N1,300/$+.

The user observed that GTBANK had unapologetically pegged the payment rate at N1,800/$ despite the fall in Dollar to Naira value.
