The teams, including early arrivals Kebbi Beach Soccer Club, Kada BSC, Nmanko Patigi BSC, and host team, Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors, are all in camp. Two additional teams are expected to arrive later.

Nigeria Beach Soccer League, NBSL  Coordinator, Mahmud Hadija, along with his Board members, arrived in Nnewi on Sunday and conducted a facility tour of the playing arena at Nnewi High School and the team camp. They were led by Anambra State Beach Soccer Association Chairman, Professor Victor Madubuko, and his Board members.

Mr. Mahmud expressed satisfaction with the level of preparation by the Anambra Beach Soccer Association for the upcoming second-round tournament, which starts on May 15, 2024.

“Anambra Beach Soccer Association is a young board, but they have shown great capacity within a short time,” he said, adding that”We are impressed with their passion and work rate. We have identified some areas for improvement and hope they will be addressed before the kickoff.”

Anambra State Beach Soccer Association Chairman, Professor Madubuko, welcomed the teams and promised to provide them with a great experience of Anambra State’s hospitality, assuring them of a warm reception in the city of Nnewi.”
