LG Electronics has unveiled its newest form of laundry dubbed LG WashTower and is a washing machine and dryer in a single unit with LG’s latest technologies and smart features.
Unlike competing stacked washers and dryers, LG’s WashTower is designed from the ground up combined as a “one body” solution. At the beginning of the wash cycle, the integrated unit indicates how long it will take to complete both washing and drying. The washer also shares information with the dryer, which automatically sets the optimal course and preheats the drum, contributing to better results and shorter overall laundry times.
In his welcome address, Head of Corporate Marketing, LG Electronics, Nigeria, Mr. Hari Elluru said, “The innovative, yet practical LG WashTower™ takes the user experience and laundry results to the next level with a brand-new concept of integrated washer and dryer laundry solution. “While the new WashTower improves the performance in energy efficiency, the core functions also help users reduce efforts in treating their laundry”, he said.
With the height of LG WashTower approximately 87 millimeters lower than the average combined height of stackable units, loading and unloading the top-mounted dryer is measurably easier. And WashTower doesn’t scrimp on capacity, with a maximum load of 13 kilograms for the washer and 10 kilograms for the dryer.

Thanks to TurboWash 360° and Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive (AI DD), the washer feature guarantees fast, gentle and cleaner clothes, detecting the weight and softness of clothing to calculate the best setting for every load. Its advanced AI reduces cycle times and energy usage without sacrificing effectiveness while the dryer utilizes LG’s steam technology to deliver maximum hygiene, eliminating 99.99 percent of common bacteria.
A Built-In Intelligence For Laundry Solution
Employing LG’s Smart Pairing™, the LG WashTower™ automatically sets the optimal drying cycle based on the last wash cycle to allow hassle-free drying. The LG WashTower™ would pre-heat and prepare the dryer by sending signals from the washer to the dryer, saving users even more valuable time and effort on laundry chores.

In terms of accessibility, the operation of the LG WashTower™ is further elevated with the Center Control™ panel.
