…Congratulates the people’s Mayor
A former Students Union Government, SUG President of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko in Anambra State, Mr. Gabriel Nwafor has expressed his profound gratitude to the executive governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR for considering one of the illustrious sons of Oko community, Capt. Barr. Casmir Nwafor Rtd for appointment as the Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba North Local Government Area.
Nwafor in a statement made available to Primetime Reporters on Tuesday observed that the governor had shown his love for the community by appointment. This he said that the governor exhibited by allowing Capt. Nwafor Rtd who is from Oko community to succeed another worthy son of Oko, Hon. Sir Ogochukwu Ekwueme which he described as unprecedented in the history of Anambra politics.
He, however, prayed God to continue to shower the governor with wisdom to enable him pilot the affairs of the state towards bringing into reality, the Anambra of their dream.
While congratulating the incoming Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba North, Capt. Barr. Casmir Nwafor, he said, “This is a momentuos occasion and a testament to your dedication, leadership and commitment to the service of our dear state.
“In assuming this important role, you have been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the affairs of Orumba North LGA. Your appointment as the Transition Committee Chairman signifies the trust and confidence that our dear governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and our people have placed in your abilities to lead and initiate a positive change.
“I have no doubt that under your leadership, that Orumba North will thrive. Once again, congratulations to you on your well deserved appointment.”
