Otunba, Alhaji Abdulazeez Babatunde Mukaila, the Chief Executive Officer of Mickey Excellency Nigeria Limited, licensed by the Nigeria Customs Service since the year 2000.
As a practitioner, started a career as a freight forwarder in the year 1988, worked in different capacity with several Licensed Custom brokers’ companies namely: Abass Integrated Service Nigeria Limited, Rastoy Nigeria Limited, NTee Nigeria Limited, Folorunsho Multiventures Investment Limited, Halifax Nigeria Limited to mentioned but a few.
Sojourn as ANLCA participatory stalwart started in 1989 as a voter representing Abass Integrated Service in ANLCA processes.
Come 28th December, 1999, Corporate Company was birthed and named Mickey (Mukaila) Excellency Nigeria Limited.
Otunba Abdulazeez Babatunde .M as a follower, observed the uncoordinated way and means of all elections he has participated as a voter in ANLCA devoid of any manifesto, programme or sequence based.
Consequently, he mobilized Apapa youth and came up with ANLCA Youth Vanguard, Apapa chapter in the year 2006 and became the protem Chairman of the movement.
This movement with office at 21 Wharf Road, Apapa became the integrity test platform for all aspirants seeking election to executive office in ANLCA western Zone, particularly in Apapa Chapter.
This platform became a veritable platform for engagement in freight forwarding and custom administration, especially at Apapa command and consequently, earned him an appointment as an interim Secretary of Apapa port chapter of ANLCA late 2008.
Done with the interim position in late 2009, Otunba was appointed as Chairman, Association Electoral Commission, ASECO.
With wonderful set of passionate members of the ASECO committee, a veritable structure was built for ANLCA electoral system: an interactive website and valid biometric membership register, restricting each corporate company to a particular chapter of the association within the three (3) Geopolitical Zones.
This structure remains a convergence for further innovative digital drives of the association. Otunba Abdulazeez Babatunde. M remains in this position uptil year 2017.
In 2018, he was elected as the National Secretary of Association of Nigeria Licensed Custom Agents (ANLCA), a position he held until July 2023, when he was appointed the Sole Administrator of the Association for just two months to administer the Association through NECOM Electoral process that culminate into the present National Executive committee.
Otunba Babatunde. M presently serves as Chairman, International Relations and Membership Biometrics Committee.
Achievement And Contributions
As a follower, Otunba Abdulazeez participated deeply in the building and consummation of ANLCA Headquarters edifice by donating generously in materials, time and in kind.

IFCBA- China, India and South Korea -International Federation of Custom Brokers’ Association and Breakbulk on project cargo in South Africa.
2015-Otunba Abdulazeez as the Chairman of ASECO, enrolled ANLCA to participate in maritime football tournament, earning ANLCA the trophy in an epic battle against Nigeria Customs service at the finals.
As A Team Leader
On assumption of office as the National Secretary in 2018, even with the turmoil and ANLCA Crisis, Otunba led ANLCA member to attend: Breakbulk on project cargo in Houston, Texas, United States, where he was certificated as project cargo expert and three other ANLCA members.
He also facilitated the attendance of Women in ANLCA to WCO – World Customs Organization conference in Belgium with theme, “1st WCO Global Communication strategies conference #WCO_OMD.”
2019- Otunba was awarded a Certificate of Knowledge on Compliance & Facilitation, Tariff & Trade, Customs Valuation and ruyles of Origin by World Customs Organization at knowledge Academy Conference 2019 at Brussels, Belgium, where four other members participated.
Attended WCO conference on AEO – Authorized Economic operators in Uganda.
As the Chairman, International Relations Committee of the present NECOM, he has facilitated China-Belt Road Conference 2023 for at least 6 members of the association and is currently working on facilitation of members to Breakbulk USA conference coming up in September 2024.
Locally, Otunba has demonstrated passion by his dedication to selfless service to the association by attending and organizing conferences for members as follows:
2014-Nigeria Custom Service and Techno Brain West Blue 4 days foundational training conference on overview of Customs procedure and processes.
2018/2022 – He organized DTI-Direct trader input conference three times during his tenure as National Secretary of ANLCA
2022 – Organized training programme for ANLCA members with COTECNA and Standard Organization of Nigeria twice with theme, ‘Operate with Integrity.”
Set up Masterclass for a 25 man classroom at ANLCA National Secretariat.
Otunba established 4 Persons – NYSC desks for legal representation services at no cost to ANLCA members with operational conflict with government agencies.
25% collectable cost MOU with Emeka Akabogu Law for recovery of client/agent based import and export related bad debts and other operational issues for members.
Digitization of ANLCA National secretariat. On assumption of office, he met no ICT presence and went to work to ensure that all offices had modern computers with strong internet connectivity.
In 2022, Otunba worked with an administration that believed in knowledge, consequently, the immediate past NECOM members attended and encouraged more than 30 members of ANLCA to get Executives Fiploma Certificate at University of Lagos programme on freight forwarding.
Also in 2022, he led members to MACN-CBI in partnership with CRFFN Certificated Conference with theme, “Digitalization of Import and Export Business and Business Integrity in Maritime Trade.
In 2010, he created the first of its kind membership database and a functional website for the association: www.anlca.com.ng that is still standing up till date.
He left behind a functional National Secretariat to the present NECOM with all physical structures intact and many more innovations added on.
Otunba is a member of Nigeria Institute of Shipping, (NIS), Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria, CRFFN, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI and a passionate member of ANLCA. He holds a Masters Degree of Transport Management at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.
