Representatives of the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Nigerian Shippers’ Council, NSC, licensed customs agents, terminal operators, shipping companies, bonded terminal operators among other stakeholders are set to battle for the Ten Million Naira (N10,000,000) grand prize for the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents, ANLCA inaugural annual table tennis tournament.
The tournament which is being put together by the Western Zone of ANLCA in partnership with the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, NTTF, is set to hold between the 6th and 7th December, 2024 at the NOT BAD SPORTS ARENA, 12 Dele Olupona Street, Egbeda, opposite Faith Academy, Gowon Estate.
The tournament which promises an engaging competition is designed to foster unity and camaraderie among key players in the maritime, aviation, and border sectors. This unique event will bring together government agencies, industry stakeholders, and sports enthusiasts alike, providing a platform for networking and friendly competition to close out the year on a high note.
Each organization, according to a statement sighted by our correspondent, is invited to send a team of four players to represent them in this exciting event which has Prince Segun Oduntan, ANLCA’s National Vice President as the Chief Host, Mr. Femi Anifowose, Zonal Coordinator, Western Zone of ANLCA as the co-host and Mr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, Comptroller General of Customs as the Special Guest of Honour.
“To participate, organizations are kindly requested to confirm their interest by submitting the names of four players who will represent their team.
