The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA United Kingdom, UK chapter has extended its congratulatory message to the executive governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo on his well-deserved consensus victory at the APGA primary election held on Saturday, 5th April, 2025 in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

It will be recalled that over three thousand (3,000) delegates, on Saturday overwhelmingly returned Soludo as its consensus candidate in the forthcoming November 8, 2025 governorship election in a unanimous decision thus paving the way for his second term bid.

However, in their congratulatory message to the governor, Hon. Peter Odirachukwu Ezekeli (Sympathy De Mayor) and Chief Richard Ugochukwu Ilorah (Ebekuodike), Publicity Secretary and Chairman of APGA UK respectively, described the emergence of the governor as a testament to his exceptional leadership, visible developmental strides, and the unwavering trust the people and the party had in his vision for a better Anambra.

“As we look forward to the forthcoming governorship election on November 8, 2025, we, the members of the APGA UK Chapter, stand firmly with you. We are confident that your re-election is not just imminent but destined—because 8 years of success is assured! You have proven to be a true servant-leader, and we remain proud of your achievements.

“APGA bu nke ndi Igbo! APGA bu nke anyi! Once again, congratulations, Your Excellency!”, the statement said.

The primary election, which took place at the iconic Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, was conducted in a peaceful, well-coordinated atmosphere that reflected the maturity and strength of the APGA political structure. A total of 3,175 delegates, drawn from the 326 wards across Anambra State, were duly accredited to participate in the exercise.

At the end of the voting process, 3,172 valid votes were cast in favor of the incumbent Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, affirming him as the party’s standard-bearer for the upcoming November 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election.
